i remembered the first interview i had after my uni graduation... the management asked me "so what is your biggest weakness?"

"indecisiveness" i replied. "i am good with coming up with all the pros and cons... consider both sides well. but at the end of the day, i cant decide"

big mistake. that, is not a 'weakness' easily accepted in such organizations, in the corporate world in general. i did not get the job.

i always thought i was indecisive. i had been indecisive most parts of my life. y? couple reasons, which i'm not going into today.

today, i realized... i am not longer indecisive. i can still come up with pros and cons, but i have learnt to be decisive.

in this camp, there are occasions, i realized i had been decisive. these decisions weren't forced (the way i usually dun like to do things, but still do them anyway because i noe those were the right things to do). naturally, i made the decisions. decisions that i believe based on my professional knowledge and experience, was the best for the students. in one occasion, doubt was cast by a particular someone. but i neva doubted the decision i made. i was just glad when i received the full support from the rest of my colleauges. when i realize that owhile in the cab on my way home, i sudenly realized that i had been decisive of late.

how did that happen? i hv no idea. perhaps i have learnt and chosen to take up responsibilities unlike how i preferred not to previously. perhaps with maturity and experiences i've watched how good decisions were made and learnt how to make them too.

this camp, i learnt more abt myself.

on the sideline, the key presentation for LSP is over today. I'm really proud of my gals, esp those who really put in the effort and perservered. their commitment and perseverance, which finally paid off today, made me feel its all worth it. once again, i'm inspired... :)
