finally over!
within a span of two weeks, i had above the markings, vetting of papers and prep of lessons:
- lesson observation
- coaching for SYF
- SYF and experiencing the disappointment and pulling myself up to encourage my gals
- set two common test papers
- prep for the kaleidoscope
-THE kaleidoscope itself
was practically out every night these two weeks for sending a loved one off, piano classes, kairos course, met an acquaintace to share experience abt teaching (tt dude is considering getting in), attending a wake, the concert.... of course, jazz by the beach & jazz @ d powerhouse last couple of sats (my form of chilling and life!)
FINALLY, offloaded!
THere had been encouragements.... heard from a kalimantan teammate who knew a gal from my class... apparently i'm quite a 'clown' and entertainer in class with my lame jokes and big actions (sometimes i feel like i'm in a talk show).
Encouragement by my guit gals who wanna really have plans (plus, i'm so proud of them when i saw them really perform during the competition & the concert... it actually makes it hard to let go...)
This two weeks... i also saw some of my loved ones (most from the kalimantan team) 'move' into a new season in their walk with God in the journey of life...
- leezi leaving SG for dubai
- Eug leaving SG for canada
- some others moving on... either to another country, or into freelance, or getting married...
i always find it so amazing how God brought this group of 'strangers' tog and now, after developing the fellowship, moving on into different journeys, knowing that we have each other behind us, supporting us spiritually when needed, because we've walked through the crossroads with each other, within that short time span since we went for the trip in dec last yr.... it also reminds me of how, as His disciples, we are really called to the ends of the earth into His purpose, but yet held together by the same Father in heaven when we look up into the sky, when we just sit in silence before Him.
ALong the way, there are pple who reminded me that faith is really not seeing where the next step is, but to noe Who to put my next step in. its something i can't completely understd... but who does? Now that the intensity is over, i no longer have reasons or 'excuses' not to sit down, and be decisive... it really gets more difficult to step out of my comfort zone, to step out in faith... with each passing day...and i'm not even talking abt months.. i'm talking about DAYS! with each event happening where i am, it gets more difficult to step out... and den i'll qns myself, am i supposed to step out? that's the quesiton i cannot escape in the week to come, and i must not escape in the week to come...
its been quite a rabbling here... but its also been quite a month... just that there aint much time to write... many things have happened thro the month... but wat is a month in view of eternity? :) wat are these but for us to learn to cling on to Him and prepare for the Kingdom....
meanwhile, my mobile has officially kaka-ed.... had to borrow colleague's one yest for the concert. i need to get one today. considering getting a razor... and my voice is gone, had been gone since wed and i hope it'll be back... cos its so tough going for services being unable to sing... :(
i'm done for now.... still hv much work to do.. but for this morn and early afternoon, i'm done for now...
